PocketCragRoute of the week

Route of the week: Crag 27. Start on the pinch, finish on the sloper, and no hold twice. Sounds easy. It isn’t. Send it, time it, tag us.

PocketCragChallenge

60-second challenge: how many hold-to-hold moves can you make without setting the block down? Under 20 is a warm-up. Over 40 and we want to see the video.

PocketCragSummit tip

Stuck on a Summit card? Slow down. Most slips happen on the move you rush. Set your fingers, breathe, then reach. Smooth beats fast.

PocketCragFamily duel

Family duel: same route, one timer, loser makes the tea. Give the kids a Pebble card and take a Crag card yourself so it stays fair.

PocketCragSet your own

Finished the deck? Grab the Allen key, move three holds and write your own route on a blank card. Then challenge a friend to flash it. Tag us with your best one.

PocketCragGift idea

For the climber who already owns every piece of gear: a crag that fits in a stocking. Gift-ready box, no price inside.

40 routes. One rule: don’t let go.

The block is half the fun. Every PocketCrag comes with a deck of route cards that turns twelve holds into forty problems to solve.

  • Four levels: Pebble, Boulder, Crag and Summit
  • Each card shows the start hold, the finish hold and which holds you can use
  • Bonus challenges: one hand only, against the clock, no repeats
  • A tick list to log every route you send
  • Blank cards for setting your own routes

A finger workout disguised as a game

Start on one hold, finish on another, and never set the block down. Each route works grip, finger strength and control in a few minutes, at your desk, on the sofa or on a rest day.

Unscrew it. Rebuild it. Climb again.

Every hold comes off with the Allen key in the box. Move them, turn them, make a route easier or meaner. Finish the deck and the block becomes your own route-setting wall.

Hand it over. Start the clock.

Kids against parents, climbers against their mates. Same route, one timer, instant rematch. It’s screen-free, it’s quick, and nobody wants to give it back.

Why not just a hangboard or a grip trainer?

Both are good tools. Here’s where PocketCrag is different.

Questions

What age is it for?
From about 8. Hand size matters more than age, so younger kids can play shorter routes with fewer holds. There’s no upper limit.
Is it hard?
Pebble routes are doable on day one. Summit routes take most people weeks, which is the point.
Will it help my climbing?
It trains finger strength, grip and precise finger placement, and it gets done because it’s fun. It won’t replace a hangboard for max strength, but it’s the session you’ll actually do on rest days and trips.
What if a hold breaks?
Email us and we’ll send a replacement hold for free. No photos, no forms.
How long does delivery take?
[X–Y] business days, with tracking on every order.
Can I return it?
Yes. If it ends up in a drawer, send it back within 60 days for a full refund.
Is it a good gift?
It arrives in a gift-ready box with no price inside, so it can go straight under the tree.
