Is it really automatic — open and close?
Yes. One press opens the full 116 cm canopy in under a second; a second press retracts it. You only compress the shaft by hand for storage — that's the part that keeps the mechanism storm-proof.
Will it flip inside out in strong wind?
The frame uses 10 reinforced fibreglass ribs instead of the usual 4–6. Ribs flex with gusts instead of snapping, and the canopy recovers instantly.
How big is it open and folded?
