Indestructible carbon-fibre frame, one-thumb open and close, and a handle that clips to anything
- Carbon frame, 30 ribs — bends with the gust and springs straight back. No metal wire to kink or rust.
- Reinforced joints on every rib — extra bracing exactly where cheap umbrellas snap the first time wind catches them.
- Double-layer 1m canopy — around 20cm wider than a standard folding umbrella, so your shoulders and your bag stay dry.
- UPF 50+ blocks 98% of UV — one umbrella for downpours and for 35°C afternoons.
- One thumb, both ways — same button opens it and closes it, even with a coffee in the other hand.
- Carabiner handle clips to bags, prams and belts — the umbrella you physically can't leave behind.
- 30-day money-back guarantee
- Ships from our warehouse within 24 hours
- Tracked delivery in 5–9 days

Questions, answered
Is it really automatic — open and close?
Yes. One press opens the full 116 cm canopy in under a second; a second press retracts it. You only compress the shaft by hand for storage — that's the part that keeps the mechanism storm-proof.
Will it flip inside out in strong wind?
The frame uses 10 reinforced fibreglass ribs instead of the usual 4–6. Ribs flex with gusts instead of snapping, and the canopy recovers instantly.
How big is it open and folded?
116 cm (45.6") open — enough for two people. Folded it's 40 cm and weighs about as much as a water bottle.
How long does delivery take?
Orders leave our warehouse within 24 hours. Delivery is 5–9 business days with full tracking from the moment it ships.
Is shipping free?
Shipping is free on every 2+ bundle. Single umbrellas ship at a low flat rate.
How do I keep it in top shape?
Air-dry before folding, check the snap button now and then, and don't hang heavy bags off the carabiner — it's built for straps, rails and hooks.
Can kids use it?
The auto-close spring is strong, so we recommend adult supervision for children — small fingers and fast mechanisms don't mix.
What if I don't like it?
You have 30 days to change your mind for a full refund — no forms, no interrogation. Email us and we'll sort it.
Is there a warranty?
Every Stormhook carries a 12-month mechanism warranty. If the auto open/close ever fails in normal use, we replace it.
Rain stops being your problem.
It's pouring. Everyone else is hunched under a bent umbrella, wrestling the wind with both hands, phone getting soaked.
You? One thumb. Click. Full canopy in under a second — coffee still in the other hand, hair still done, phone still dry.
And when the sun comes out, you're not carrying dead weight. It clips back on your bag and doubles as UPF 50+ shade. The forecast stops mattering.

People keep buying a second one
“It clips onto the stroller and stays there. I used to lose two or three umbrellas a season — this one physically can't get left behind.”
“Bought the black for me, came back a week later for the navy for my wife. The one-hand open is the feature you don't know you need until you have it.”
“Survived a coastal storm that turned three other umbrellas on our street inside out. The ribs flex and bounce back. Genuinely impressed.”

The 3-Storm Guarantee
Take it through three real storms. If it ever lets you down in the first 30 days — full refund, no forms, no fuss. And the auto mechanism is covered for 12 months after that. The risk is on us, not you.

The clip changes everything
I commute daily and it hangs off my backpack strap. Grab, click, done. Can't believe umbrellas were ever designed any other way.

Beige is gorgeous in person
Ordered for the look, stayed for the wind resistance. Got caught in a proper downpour at a festival and it didn't even flinch.

Solid — one small note
Heavier than a pocket umbrella, but that's the trade for 10 ribs. The carabiner means I never carry it in my hand anyway. Would buy again.

Bought 3, gifted 2
The bundle was a no-brainer. Mum and sister are converted. The auto-close alone sells it when people see it.
